Over at OpenAmplify's Community site, they are running Part 1 of a three-part series I've written about using OpenAmplify with Drupal.

The first part covers the basics of using Acquia Drupal and the Amplify module to perform semantic analysis of your content.

OpenAmplify is an amazing teasure

Matt, look forward to following this series. I spent a good couple days toying with openamplify 8 months ago. Some pretty amazing technology, though I haven't yet thought of many practical applications for your average site. Couple possible one's that popped into my head when i played with it though:
1. an auto tagging feature - its ability to pick out the topic is pretty impressive.
2. seems like the perfect fit for basing a "related content" system off of.
3. various experimental ideas that relate to troll detection/moderation
